Interview with Parvaneh Massoumi’s:

We need to address the concerns of the disabled

I believe that cinema can help the disabled to narrate their stories

Cinema and visual media can be very effective at changing people’s attitudes towards people with disabilities, and festivals such as the International Film Festival, as a leading film festival, can be viewed culturally to change the attitudes of people in society towards the capabilities of people with disabilities. To lay down. Of course, although this is a theory, it can be regulated by this change of behavior in the hope of changing the attitude.

In my opinion, the attitudes, beliefs and misconceptions of the society with people with disabilities cause their prosperity, and change of attitudes can lead to more significant awareness and more meaningful communication among people with disabilities with other people in society.

As you know, mass media can be effective tools for creating greater understanding and gradual change in the general attitude towards people with disabilities, especially if the narrated stories are real and based on the real life of the disabled.

For this reason, it is essential to organize festivals such as movie films, because they create an extra incentive for people with disabilities to live and create, and on the other hand, people can become familiar with the new achievements of people with disabilities in different parts of the world. To be

I believe that we all have a responsibility to restore a disabled person to a normal life, and we can make them feel free to limit their opportunities by empowering them and their communities. I know many painters who create beautiful images without their hands and feet. However, they must see the disabled and recognize their concerns.

According to the Universal Declaration of the Rights of the Child, every child has the right to enjoy all aspects of life. Such children should be given more attention and no one has the right to humiliate them.

Disability is depicted in various films. In many of these films, loneliness and how families and societies encounter such people are shown. In the past few years, there have been many films in this area, but I think the Little Bird of Happiness is one of the most enduring films that have been devoted to such topics.

For the second time, I emphasize that in order to change the attitude of the society towards the capabilities of the disabled, the culture of the first among them and other people of the community must be effective. We should not allow the disabled to be isolated because of the problems that they have to be isolated and should help them to attend the community and help them. Because of course, they also have the ability to deal with a lot of issues, especially psychologically and emotionally, as other people, and can help in a lot of things.

In the end, I want to be patient with the families of the disabled, although their work is very difficult, but there is no doubt that the kind God will see your work and this effort will not be rewarded.
